Who would have thought about turning a washing machine tub into a light-up table?
I can't say that I thought a table made from an old washing machine tub would be very cool or nice looking, but a company called Reestore has proven me wrong. Reestore makes several interesting things from recycled goods, including the Silvana table.
The Silvana is made from a used stainless steel washing machine tub. It's mounted with a piece of frosted glass forming the top of the table and a light is mounted inside the tub. The light escapes through the many small drain holes in the tub and creates a star-like projection on the surroundings.
Reestore's Silvana is £170.
