Pushing the envelope of mouse technology

The Fanatec gaming mouse for your computer
By keeping the cord out of your way while gaming…

Leave it up to those crazy Germans to invent a new super mouse for your computer gaming needs. Every serious gamer knows that they don’t want cordless mice because of the slight latency in the movement transmission. However, nothing can ruin that precise head-shot, causing you to lose the LAN party, like the mouse’s cord getting hung-up on something.

Enter the Fanatec head$h0t mouse (no, that’s not a typo – it’s l33t!) The mouse combines a high-precision 2000dpi sensor with a molded rubber grip, plasmaGlyde slider feet, and ultimately, a plastic arch which serves to suspend the mouse’s cable so that it cannot get snagged on anything.

You’ve gotta wonder about their choice of names when you read “Fanatec”, “head$h0t” (and I left-out the funny double dot thing over the A) and “plasmaGlyde” – perhaps it sounds cooler to someone with english as a second language, but for me, it looks like they need to hire a consultant when choosing names.
