Pyramid power plug solves wall wart problems

Powramid outlet strip works with AC adapters too large for normal strips
With the huge number of wall warts we all have for our various electronics gadgets, it’s become difficult to find plugs for them all. Not any longer with the Powramid.

It seems that ever electronic gizmo you buy today comes with its own AC adapter, or “wall wart” due to the blocky shape that hangs from the power outlets. The problem with these large power adapters is that they block neighboring outlets so you can often only get a single adapted plugged into a normal outlet.

That’s where the self-proclaimed “new shape of power” Powramid comes-in. Its special shape allows you to plug bulky, blocky AC adapters into its six outlets which are arranged in a circle and at an angle to allow extra room. There is an LED indicating surge protection and also a handy on/off switch at the peak of the pyramid-like shape.

So, if you have more wall-warts than you can fit into your outlets, check-out the Powramid for about $30 or so.

  1. Looks awesome. Will they be bringing one out for use in Australia?

  2. That is an awesome gadget! Even when you have a powerstrip, you can usually only use half of it because of the huge plugs. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Now that is a nifty idea. I have power strips plugged into power strips under my desk. Good idea.
